Psalm 73 1-3 & 13-17
Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
But as for me, my feet were almost gone, my steps had well nigh slipped.
For I was envious at the foolish; when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
Verily, I have cleansed my heart in vain, and wasted my hands in innocency.
For all the day long have I been plagued and chastened every morning.
If I say, I will speak thus; Behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.
When I thought to know this, it was painful for me;
Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then undersood I their end.
This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. I thank God for life, health, and strength; victory over the adversary and victory over sin. I thank God that he has looked past my faults to meet my needs for his love and his tender mercies. He has showered me with the abundance of his truth and comfort for times such as these, It seems like when you follow hard after his spirit you’re not looking for the wrong, but for his righteousness.  Yet, while attempting to show the purified love of Christ, those whom I loved and desired to receive healing and deliverance for have set snares and traps for me. I had almost slipped, but the Lord Jesus has kept me in his love and his favor. He will not suffer his righteous to be moved. He is on our right hand. I was envious at the wicked. When I saw the liers in wait... I saw the sorcerers come from the shadows to stiff our strength and to mock our seek after righteousness. Oh, how they do desire to partake of our good things (see II Peter 2:31). They prosper while stealing our spiritual treasures of joy, peace, patience, strength, and trust. They hang on our words hoping to see us stumble. Where is their God now? they ask. While having itching ears, they call our righteous words corrupt. Yet, while they curse, we bless. We feed them the words of life and pray for their surrender to righteousness. We offend on every side while they take what mercy remains. To have the mysteries revealed concerning future matters, I found the thoughts too painful. The devastation, the hurt, the pain, the emptiness is too overwhelming. I went to the sanctuary; I understood the depths of the word. The words were powerful and did penetrate my heart. Immediately I did cry for more time to pray…more time to preach…more time to compel them…more time when I knew of the destruction to come. I needed more time to get to the heart of God.

​Daniel 10 Study Notes continued
II Corinthians 7:10
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
The Lord is giving the word because he loves us. He is full of tender mercies and loving kindness towards his own. He chastens those he loves. Yet, he desires us to be perfected in holiness. Therefore, the reproof and rebukes should bring forth a true heart’s surrender with the expected end result being salvation.
Daniel 10:16-17
And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O’ my Lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
For how can the servant of this my Lord talk with this my Lord? For me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breadth left in me.
Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me.
The Lord Jesus Christ sends his angels to edify, strengthen, build, and instruct. Daniel had lost a lot of virtue or strength due to his fast and also because of what the Lord revealed in his spirit. He sent an angel to confirm that the vision was indeed true and from the Lord. The words of comfort strengthened the prophet and assured him that He was beloved of God.
Daniel 10: 19-21
And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, Be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my Lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
Then said He, knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? And now I will return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Greece will come.
But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Micheal your prince.
So, we know how wicked the Persians are. They had principalities and they work spiritual wickedness in high places. Other sources have mentioned that their ancestors were descendants of Russia. They are without a reverent fear of the Lord and work abominable things which no one can utter. Knowing that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, we must continue to pray and seek after the spirit of holiness. We must strengthen ourselves in the word of God and sing hymns and psalms unto God. We must make God our refuge.
When the Lord sent his angel to minister unto Daniel, he strengthened him with a word of confirmation, but he also shared that the battle wasn’t over. He said we would fight with the Persian prince, but then there would be another principality from Greece that will approach shortly. Then the angel said, I will show you what is noted in the scripture of truth.
I believe it is needful to mention that he will show him truth because these principalities will come forth to get us to believe a lie. It is all a method of spiritual warfare against the true believer; deception.
Revelation 12:10
And I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven, now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.
We must strengthen ourselves in the faith knowing that Jesus Christ is our refuge. Jesus is our Shepperd, we shall not want for anything. He is the way, the truth, and the life. The blood of Jesus will never lose its power. Because our savior is risen to sit on the right hand of God, we have strength given by the blood of the lamb to overcome every power of darkness or spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore, no matter the accusation; Jesus Christ is our refuge. No matter what the circumstance or situation, Jesus Christ has covered us with the blood of the lamb which enables us to overcome any affliction, trial, or circumstance. We must stand on our testimony of Jesus that established us upon from the beginning. We stand by faith even when threatened with death knowing that Jesus is our refuge and he is the author and the finisher of our faith. Daniel 10:12
Then said He unto me, fear not Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
Daniel receives a confirming word from an angel. Oftentimes, when the Lord gives a word of prophesy he will send another with a prophetic gift or ministering angel to confirm what we have seen and heard. It is also written let prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge (I Cor 14:29). The Lord sent an angel in advance when I came to Daniel to fast before the Lord God and to confirm what he had received in the vision. The Lord already knows what we stand in need of, even before we ask. He searches the heart. Because of what Daniel had prayed from his heart to God for his chosen people, the Lord sent response immediately.
Daniel 10:13-14
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me on and twenty days: But lo Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there the kings of Persia.
Now I am come to make thee to understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.
Here is the revelation of spiritual warfare. There are angels of light who have been given charge over us and also commissioned to minister to our spirit man the will of Jesus Christ in our lives. Ther are powers of darkness present that attempt to interfere with the Lord’s communication process with his chosen. The Lord God reveals that there are different rankings of angels and that the one messenger angel that was dispatched required help fighting to get the message to Daniel. It took them twenty one days of natural time to clear the spiritual atmosphere.
Ephesians 6:10-12
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the whiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
From this spiritual picture we can see that the Lord fights our battles in advance. By the times He gives us a prophetic word, He has already made a provision in the spiritual realm. The spiritual principalities were conquered over two thousand years in advance. The Lord says Be strong in the Lord, because we can see that spiritual wickedness in high places drains our strength. There were spiritual principalities that were warring against Daniel in the spirit from Persia. Thank God for Jesus Christ who has given us power over every principality and power of darkness.
The Lord Jesus Christ has also equipped us with his Holy Spirit to help our angels fight the good fight of faith. We can’t plead the cause enough that you must be sealed by the Holy Ghost. He will lead and guide us in the paths of all truths. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. His Holy Spirit moves adversaries and will keep anyone who wants to be kept in love in these last and evil days.
Hebrews 1:7 &14
And of the angels He saith, who maketh the angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Therefore, the Lord confirms by his Holy word that he sends His holy angels to us even as he has done in times past with the holy prophets and our forefathers. His angels and ministering spirits to edify and the help build us up on our most holy faith. These ministering spirits come in flame of fire. Even in the book of Acts the Lord confirms that when his Holy Spirit was poured upon his disciples, there appeared cloven tongues having the likeness of fire. His spirit has a refining fire that way we are not deceived. He says his ministering angels are sent to those who shall be heirs of salvation. The Lord sends what we need to help us endure to the end. Michael, one of the chief princes was sent to assist Daniel with the spiritual warfare.
There was a strong spiritual principality over the kingdom of Persia. That power of darkness was wrestling with the ministering angel for twenty-one days. Therefore, he stay amongst the forces of Persia fighting and sent Michael for reinforcements.
Daniel has received he prophetic message that he had been praying about concerning the future of the Lord’s chosen one’s and what would take place in the last days. Once the message came forth, Daniel began to look down and couldn’t speak. We must eat the whole loaf. Prophesy is for edification of the body. The Lord’s go through cycles of disobedience, repentance, and deliverance. His prophets must speak of his judgment, as well as his faithfulness to restore a remnant. Impartation of words of judgment can be depressing. However, the Lord encourages his chosen to not have sorrows of the world.
II Corinthians 7:10

Revelation 1:12-19
And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; and in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And He laid his right hand upon, saying unto me, fear not; I am the first and last:
I am He that liveth, and was dead, and behold, I am alive for ever more, Amen, and have the keys of hell and of death.
The Lord confirms the same vision with the Apostle John as Daniel had. While revealing himself to John, he also gives comfort and assurance that in the end times he is still in the midst of his people and the church. Even in a time of darkness the Lord sets the church, the seven candlesticks as a light.
In his right hand are seven stars, which are angels and yet he is there in the midst with his word as a two-edged sword. The Lord has often said that no man could see him and live. So he confirms this as John falls to his feet as one dead. But yet the Lord quickens by his spirit. He sees the Lord Jesus in his glorified body after he had risen, just as he did when the Apostle Paul with his introduction on Damascus Road.
Daniel confirms his testimony that he was alone to see the vision, although others had accompanied him. He saw the Lord, they experience an earthquake that made them want to run and hide themselves.
When the Lord reveals himself, no matter where he reveals himself, He makes it a personal encounter. Not everyone is going to see what you see or understand what you understand in the end times. Carrying the cross is a dirty job and a lonely road. Throughout all these testimonies the Lord Jesus Christ said, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet they still believe.”
Therefore I was left alone, and saw the great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.
Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face and my face toward the ground.
And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.
And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
Daniel was left alone and he saw a revelation from the Lord God. He said the good part of him had turned to corruption and because of what he saw in the spirit, he retained no strength. He was already fasting to eliminate the flesh and that he would be in position to receive what the Lord was willing to reveal by his spirit. Nonetheless, what strength he did have was consumed by the vision.
Oftentimes, when the Lord reveals a thing to a seer prophet he uses the five senses to have the prophet discern spiritual things such as the spiritual atmosphere or what’s operating and also to feel what the Lord feels. Here the comeliness is the spiritual part of us. He says his comeliness was turned into corruption. It’s one thing to be surrounded by darkness and see corruption and wickedness. He had already seen that type of corruption in the government that he was under for more than five decades prior; nearly a generation. However, this corruption absorbed his strength. I remember the Lord often telling me to guard your heart and to guard the anointing. The Lord revealed when the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of his garment, He said, “virtue has left me.” So the Lord is revealing that the corruption he experienced was not voluntary or because of anything that he did, but the spiritual atmosphere was so wicked that he couldn’t keep his strength. In the midst of all the corruption, Daniel still heard the voice of the Lord God and his words. He heard these things while in a deep sleep or trance. Then, the Lord by his spirit sent an angel to quicken and strengthen him and he stood upright to receive the instruction and hear what the spirit has to say...more to come in bible study...Join Us

Daniel 10
 
In the third year of Cyrus King of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understand the thing, and had understanding of the vision.
In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.
I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
The word reveals to us that the Lord God moves upon Cyrus to conquer the Babylonian Empire during the time appointed that the children of Isreal had been exiled into captivity. In the first year of the reign of King Cyrus the Lord God moves upon his heart to release the children of Isreal and to rebuild the house of the Lord in Jerusalem. There is a period of transition for the Lord’s chosen. The Words of prophesy that had been spoken through the prophet Jeremiah had come to fruition. Therefore, the children began to sojourn back to their land of promise at the written word of Cyrus and they began to pool resources in order to build.
Two years after Cyrus makes the decree for the children to return home and build, the Lord God gives a revelation to Daniel. Daniel states that the thing that was revealed was true. The Lord wants us to know that it is possible for us to receive revelation that are not true. The adversary comes in several fashions, forms, and dimensions, to confuse, distract, or to have us give heed to seducing spirits or even doctrines of devils. However, He said this revelation was in the spirit of truth, but what was revealed would not happen for a long while. One thing the Lord has shared concerning prophets and the prophetic word is that you will know them by their fruits. A true prophet’s word come to pass.
Yet in this instance the Lord is comforting Daniel in advance to say have assurance and confidence for you may not see these things in your lifetime seeing that Daniel was already up in age.
Daniel had been given numerous other revelations and visions from the Lord that required the angel Gabriel to visit him so that he may get an understanding of the spiritual things concerning the message. However, this time the Holy Spirit is present and within his spirit the spiritual understanding is with him. He understood what the Lord was revealing and how he was revealing it in the vision.
There are several operations to the spirit of prophesy. Not every prophet is a seer. Sometimes the Lord will deposit a word in your heart(spirit man) without seeing anything, you just know it, because He gave the impartation. Then to help with the understanding of a message He may give a confirming vision that was symbolism which you’re then able to put together with wors of understanding. Here Daniel confirms that he understands both forms of impartations from the Lord God. These things that were revealed to the holy prophet Daniel in the midst of a three week fast and his spirit was grieving for the things he had seen and come to know.
Isaiah 44:28
That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem thou shalt be built, and to the temple, thy foundation shall be laid.
Therefore, seeing the Lord called Cyrus his anointed and his shepherd. He was led by the Spirit to do the Lord’s will and therefore I also believe that’s the reason why Daniel didn’t need an angel to come deliver the message when the Lord had free reign because the head of the administration had their heart to do the Lord’s will and to fulfil his purpose.

• And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river Hiddekel;
• Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:
• His body also was like beryl, and his face as appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.
• And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them so that they fled to hide themselves.

Keep in mind that Daniel has spent years in captivity with other Israelites for their disobedience to the Lord. Sometimes you’re not the one who sinned, yet you suffer as a whole. The rain falls on the just as well as the unjust. Saying these things, the prophet Daniel is privileged to see the administration change and the start of the Lord’s appointed time for restoration. Although many families began to pack up and move, he stays. Having been shown the kingdoms of the heathen and the vanity and the corruption, the Lord encounters Daniel directly. Though he sees the children of God entering into their inheritance and going back to the land of promise; whether spiritual or natural, he still maintains his role as the pillar to watch and pray. He seeks the Lord God for wisdom and instruction. He has an expectation to hear from God, but the Lord gives him more. Daniel sees the Lord in his splendor and majesty. Sometimes the greatest revelations come when you’re off by yourself in a quiet place by the waters waiting with great expectation of the more.
Daniel is sitting by the water with his head down while fasting and greatly distraught after having a dream/vision of judgment. Then he is led to lift up his eyes unto God. He sees the Lord in fine linen girded/ wrapped in gold. He has a brightness of white and lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire. Meaning, they have an all-consuming fire that he may see clearly even in the midst of darkness and his feet are of brass symbolic of having gone through the fire. ​ ZECHARIAH 1:1-5
THE GOD WHO REMEMBERS
In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, cam ethe word of the Lord unto Zechariah, the son Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
The Lord hath been sore displeased with your fathers.
Therefore, say unto them, thus saith the Lord of hosts; turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, thus saith the Lord of hosts, turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, ot hearken unto me, saith the Lord.
Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever?
The children of Israel had already been led into captivity. King Cyrus of Persia made a decree releasing the children to return and begin to rebuild. Darius, the great, begins reigning and the Lord moves his Holy prophet Zechariah to speak pleading with the remnant to repent. He mentions their fathers were not pleasing in his sight. Although they are a chosen people, He is not pleased with the standard of righteousness that has been set. The Lord commands that the hearts of the people return unto him. Draw near unto me and I will draw near unto you, he has said. Do not do those things that the prophets of old have cried against. Harden not your heart, but hear what the spirit of truth has to say. Your forefathers did not prosper in their way. Where are they? The prophets will not be there perpetually and continually speaking the same thing; judgment will come forth.
6-10
But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? And they returned and said, like as the Lord of hosts thought to do unto us; according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.
Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month which is the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius came the word of the Lord unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.
Then said I, O my Lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be.
And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, these are they whom the Lord hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.
The Lord God remembers is the meaning the name Zechariah. Although he was a holy prophet, he is also from a household of priests in a day when the Lord God started bringing restoration to a people who had been in captivity. Although many of the Israelites had been exiled, not all of them were unrighteous in the sight of God. Remember the rain falls upon the just as well as the unjust. He remembers their need for his love. He remembers their need for his righteousness. He remembers their need for his salvation. He remembers the need for his instruction. He remembers a people who are his inheritance, a chosen priesthood. He remembers a people sanctified unto himself who he hath set his seal unto the day of redemption. The Lord gives a vision to the prophet who sees a man upon a red horse and then he sees him standing among the myrtle trees. The man is an angel and the color red is symbolic of the blood of the lamb and the love of Christ toward his chosen. He sees angels whom the Lord God has given charge in the earth to go forth as watchers. The eyes of the Lord are everywhere beholding the good and as well as the evil. He has instructed through his prophets to warn the people to repent and draw near and the angels are giving report to the Lord that the heathen are at ease. The Lord answered the angels concerning this with words of comfort. The Lord says He is jealous for our sake. He is remembering our enemies and the tares that have been sown in the midst to partake of our peace and prosperity. I will perform my jealousy against the heathen, the Lord has said and he will return with the sure mercies toward Jerusalem.
