FAITH THE GOOD FIGHT AND STAY THE COURSE

Rev 20:12-15
 
And I saw  the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
 
The Lord revealed through the prophet Daniel and the apostle John that records are being kept of our lives and that he sits on the right hand of the throne of God waiting for His enemies to be made His footstool. The Lord has written that the thrones shall be cast down and the Ancient of Days will reign with the saints in His everlasting kingdom. The Lord reveals that he has a great white throne and there will the books be opened. He said first he saw the dead given up small and great out of death and hell and the sea. He judges them according to their works which were written in the books and then they are then cast into the lake of fire which is considered the second death.
 
Isaiah 5:14-16
 
Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled: But the Lord of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.
 
We should not fret ourselves because of evildoers neither be envious of works of iniquity because they soon shall be cut down. Do not be intimidated. Do not fear what man can do. Perfect love casts out all fear. There is a reward for righteousness. There is a reward for faithfulness. Do not be weary in well doing. Do not take down for the enemy and go back to Egypt, meaning where you have been delivered from. Do not be deceived. Whatsoever a man sowed, that shall a man also reap. Believe only on the Lord. Do his will and purpose. Be sure your name is written in the book of life. There are books being kept by the angels, but the one we want our names written in is the Lamb's book. Before we take our last breath we must believe on Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. There is no other refuge or name that can deliver us and keep us from perishing. Seek him with your whole heart and do not give into the deception that says you don't have to change...You don't have to surrender. Jesus gives choices and will not force you to serve him. The kingdom suffers violence and the violent take it by force, but we must hold fast to the truth. Be sure your works are a work of faith and take down the abominable things and put away the idolatry. We must stop doing our own works and our own will. We did not create ourselves. We must ear the Lord Jesus Christ with a reverent fear.
 
Malachi 3:14-18
 
Yet have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts? and now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered. Then they that fear the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
 
Do not look at others lifestyle and think that you are the one coming up short. Do not look with the natural eye. The adversary is always attempting to gain advantage with illusions of falsehood and half truths. He was a liar from the beginning. David penned the Psalm 37:10/35-36
 
For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
 
 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
 
Rejoice with each other. Pray. Seek the face of God. Commune with your own hearts. When we encourage each other and love each other in sincerity and truth the Lord Jesus is in the midst. He will hear. He will remember.
