PASSIONATE PURSUIT...A PRAYER OF A GOD CHASER

PSALM 119:81
My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.
Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, when wilt thou comfort me?
For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.
How many are the days of thy servant? When wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law,
All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; Help thou me.
They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.
Quicken thou me after thy loving kindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.

 O’ Lord we plead with thee to tarry not. Quicken us by your Holy word. Surely the adversary have come to stiff our strength and to make us feel ashamed for believing in thy holy precepts. O’ Lord, you have called us by your Holy name and we have repented. We return to you O’ Lord, Move the mockers which attempt to make a lie of the truth. We trust you as our refuge. You are a very present help in the time of trouble. We look to you for the performance of your word. Render to your enemies their just reward. Though we are for peace, they are for war. They cannot sleep not slumber without having done mischief. We have not forgotten thy word O’ Lord Jesus. Although the liars in wait do watch for our demise, thy word have we hid that we may not sin against thee. Move to judgment for those who refuse to do thy will. Teach me to know thine end O’ Lord Jesus for surely have I been zealous after thine own heart and that zeal has eaten me up. I am sick. I am shut up. Where could I could go that you would not be. The word has come forth, yet is there an ear for thy instruction O’ Lord? Persecutors are ever present, oblivious of their own wretchedness. They cannot recognize the depths of your love and longsuffering. Strengthen us O’ Lord to continue to search the very deep things of God. Circumcise our hearts O’ Lord and know the reigns of our being desire to please you. Show us the path of righteousness. Be the lamp unto of feet that we stumble not in our seek to dwell in your holiness. Cleanse us with thine refining fire that we are tried and true O’ Lord purge us with hyssop. Elevate us in your Holy Spirit to a place where no enemy can penetrate. Satisfy us with your glory.
