PASSIONATE PURSUIT...AFTER GOD'S OWN HEART

PSALM 12
Help, Lord; for the Godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
They speak vanity every one with his neighbor: with flattery lips and a double heart do they speak.
The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things, who have said, with our tongues we will prevail; our lips are our own: who is Lord over us?
For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I wil set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. The wicked shall walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
Thank God the words of truth that are irrefutable and cannot change. The word transcends time. Thank God for being our lively hope and that He ever liveth to make intercession for us.
King David cries unto God to intercede because it SEEMED that he was surrounded by men that were wicked, unfaithful and that he was outnumbered.
Sometimes our circumstance can SEEM devastating and discouraging to say the very least especially when others around you appear to have a lifestyle that compared to that of a heathen all the while they do what they do and they prosper in their way. They steal the words of the true priests and prophets. They source the virtue of the true disciples that will humble themselves at the feet of God, and all the while it seems like the life of holiness you attempted to lead is nothing in the sight of God. They come with wrong intent and flattering word to get access and to find fault, not to edify, but to devour. It seems like the Lord doesn’t see and it seems like the Lord is tarrying, but He is there. His angels are encamped about and have been given charge over you. For years you can remember that David ran from his mentor, Saul. He was a warrior. Then some time later he also runs from his own son who attempts to overthrow the kingdom. As we endure these end times it is needful to teach sanctification and simply to maintain holiness with the children. The adversary is crafty and the prophetic books of the bible tell us that the adversaries are inventors of wicked things, be aware of the devices of the adversary. The days are becoming like unto Sodom and Gomorrah, yet remember these things are not natural, they are spiritual. The bible states that although Noah, Daniel, and Job petitioned him concerning these people they would be delivered according to their own righteousness. Therefore we must teach the children how to be servants of righteousness beyond the walls of the church and to fear the Lord with their whole heart. They must have their own foundation of faith. They must get their wisdom from on high and not operate according to man’s wisdom. Many are coming as wolves in sheep’s clothing…sometimes not even in sheep’s clothing attempting to manipulate and control the Lord’s saints and their destiny. The Lord says here that they will be cut off. Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be envious of workers of iniquity. Know the voice of the Lord for he speaks pure things, righteous things. He chastens whom he loves, but it IS in love and you recognize it in edification. His words are divine, they build, they glorify, they magnify, they cleanse, they heal. He is a good Sheppard. Therefore, repent and accept him in his fullness of joy. Do not be deceived. All will come to the knowledge of him from the least to the greatest. Supp with the truth while you yet have the chance. Surely, he is coming and his reward is with him.
Isaiah 57:1-2
The righteous perisheth, and no man lay it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
