PASSIONATE PURSUIT...AND YET TRUE...AND YET WELL KNOWN

​II Corinthians 6:4-10
 
By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the holy spirit, by love unfeigned, by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right and on the left,
By honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
As unknown and yet well known, as dying and behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
I say these things to encourage you. We have been growing leaps and bounds spiritually and we know that surely the prayers of the righteous have been availing and working overtime for us in the spiritual realm. The word say that we are workers in unity with Christ and he pleads with his believers that we receive not the grace of God in vain. We are not to be intimidated or fear the threatenings of man. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. There, fret not thyself because of evil doers and neither be envious of workers of iniquity, they will be cut down. The Lord is the first and the last, beginning and the end. Therefore, in all things we carry ourselves as faithful stewards of the mysteries of the gospel, operating in the purified love of Christ. Our love is sincere and we operate in the word of truth even though the adversary has liers in wait attempting to gain advantage to mock and speak evil, accuse and dispute our righteousness. Yet, we still trust in the Lord Jesus who is the bishop of our souls. Stay armed and dangerous; putting on the whole armor that we may be able to withstand the whiles of the adversary. You know that our weapons of warfare are not carnal but mighty to the pulling down of strongholds. Though you attempt to give honor where honor is due and credit where credit is due, they will receive it as dishonor and disrespect. Though you do good in the last and evil days, the unbelievers they look for the failure and shortcomings among the true saints of the Most High. However, remember that there is not failure in Christ. Although your work of faith is desirous of good report, they give evil report attempting to devour the spiritual nature within you. We are dwelling in the midst of a wicked and perverted generation that will twist and turn the truth to fit whatever conspiracy they are looking to have manifest. For that reason, we are spoken of as deceivers while yet still being true; all the while they continue to create law after law to create snares, traps, and stumbling blocks for the believer. They say we are unknown, yet we are well known because we are known of our Father in Heaven. We carry our cross daily so that it is no longer we ourselves but Christ that liveth within us. All shall come to the knowledge of him from the least to the greatest. Therefore, are we well known because our fruits show the increase of righteousness. Signs, miracles, wonders follow the believer. Though it seems we are dying in Christ, we are renewed and strengthened in the spirit man day by day. Therefore, we live because the holy ghost quickens from faith to faith and glory to glory. Jesus chastens those he loves, but his love is known, and felt in the midst of that chastening. Remember, he is a good Sheppard. He doesn’t want his chosen hurting and depressed and wanting to give up on life. He wants us to have the fullness of his joy. He says come all ye that are heaven laden and burdened down because he cares for you. There are times of sorrow, but that sorrow is not the sorrow of the world. That sorrow should bring forth repentance unto salvation. Therefore, the heavens rejoice that lives are saved and reconciled unto God. Although it may seem outwardly that you’re not worth a thing…seems like you’re a poor cast away while making others rich; you possess all things, for in Christ his promises are yea and amen. #steadfast #unshakeable #abounding #faithful
