PASSIONATE PURSUIT...ARE YOU ANCHORED IN THE ROCK?

​Luke 6:47-49
Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the steam did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the run of that house was great.
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is the living God who sits on high, looks low, and swears on himself. He is the first and the last, the beginning and the end. He is the God who is, was, and is to come. Jesus is the written Word that is irrefutable, and He stated that whoever comes to him and does His will is like one who has built their house upon a rock and because they were established upon the rock when the storm arose it couldn’t be shaken.
            The Lord has asked what kind of house have we been built upon. Have we allowed Jesus Christ to be our foundation and chief cornerstone? Have you been established upon the rock, the lively stone? The storms of life come and go, and yet Jesus remains the same. Adversaries encompass like a flood, but Jesus has lifted the standard, and the true believers will have Jesus to be their rock and fortress, a very present help in the time of trouble. He stated prophetically that He’s shaking the foundations. When the shaking comes will your fruit remain? When the shaking comes will your works remain? Are you rooted and grounded in the love of Christ? Will your foundation withstand the test of time? When all hell breaks loose, will your faith stand?
Isaiah 66:1-2
Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
The Lord says where His throne is is where His glory resides also. He is holy. He is to be feared and reverenced as King of Kings. He is patient. He is kind. He is gentle. He is humble. In His presence is the fullness of joy. His house is a house of prayer and a place of rest and peace. Everything that has been done is because of the wisdom and knowledge of God. He has created and appointed all things. Yet, He is with the poor in spirit, the meek, and them that have a reverent fear of His holy Word. #chasingafterJesus #HisSpirit #praise #believeonly
