PASSIONATE PURSUIT...ARE YOU FULL OR EMPTY?

​WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT ARE YOU FULL OR EMPTY?
II KINGS 4:1
NOW THERE CRIED A CERTAIN WOMAN OF THE WIVES OF THE SONS OF THE PROPHETS UNTO ELISHA, SAYING, THY SERVANT, MY HUSBAND IS DEAD; AND THOU KOWEST THAT THY SERVANT DID FEAR THE LORD; THE CREDITOR IS COME TO TAKE UNTO HIM MY TWO SONS TO BE BONDSMAN.
AND ELISHA SAID UNTO HER, WHAT SHALL I DO FOR THEE? TELL ME WHAT HAS THOU IN THE HOUSE? AND SHE SAID, THINE HANDMAID HATH NOT ANYTHING IN THE HOUSE SAVE A POT OF OIL.
THEN HE SAID, GO, BORROW THEE VESSELS, ABROAD OF ALL THY NEIGHBORS, EVEN EMPTY; BORROW NOT A FEW.
AND WHEN THOU ARE COME IN, THOU SHALT SHUT THE DOOR UPON THEE AND UPON THY SONS, AND SHALT POUR OUT INTO ALL THOSE VESSELS, AND THOU SHALT SET ASIDE THAT WHICH IS FULL.
SO SHE WENT FROM HIM, AND SHUT THE DOOR UPON HER AND HER SONS, WHO BROUGHT THE VESSELS TO HER; AND SHE POURED OUT.
There was a woman who had a husband who was a prophet. We understand that certain tree bear a certain kind of fruit. Prophets bring forth prophets. Her husband was the son of a prophet and  he died. Therefore, she went unto Elisha who was the manifest presence of God and reminds him that she had a God-fearing husband and creditors are coming to take her two sons as bondmen.
Elisha who has a double portion of the spirit of God asks the woman what he could do? How could he perfect what was lacking? Then he asked what was in her house. He didn’t tell her to go anywhere as yet. We all have been given a measure of faith by God…some measure with the gift of God.
EPHESIANS 4:7
BUT UNTO EVERY ONE OF US IS GIVEN GRACE ACCORDING TO THE MEASURE OF THE GIFT OF CHRIST.
WHEREFORE HE SAITH, WHEN HE ASCENDED UP ON HIGH, HE LED CAPTIVITY CAPTIVE, AND GAVE GIFTS UNTO MEN.
What is your gift? What is your talent that the Lord wants to multiply in you? What’s in your house that the Lord can increase and bring forth a harvest? The handmaiden is from the house of prophets and knew to inquire of the Lord, by His spirit and not man. She said that all she had was a pot of oil. I am reminded of the account of Moses when he was instructed by God to go and free an oppressed people with signs, miracles, and wonders. The Lord asked, “what is in thine hand?” Moses replied, “a rod. We may not have the greatest worship team. We may not have plaques or accolades and achievements posted on our wall. The Lord is looking for us to recognize what we have been blessed with and elevate in that. We have been blessed with the greatest gift given to man. Jesus Christ is our exceedingly great reward. He has given us the Word (the bread of life) and anointed with his presence. Then he asks us to use that which we have to go and collect the emptiness and those that have been commonly afflicted.
I Corinthians 16:8-9
BUT I WILL TARRY AT EPHESUS UNTIL PENTACOST.
FOR A GREAT DOOR AND EFFECTUAL IS OPEN UNTO ME, AND THERE ARE MANY ADVERSARIES.
We are sent by His Spirit to seek that which is empty and desperate. We are sent to seek for those who have similar desperations and afflictions. We are seeking those who have not been ashamed of the truth of the gospel and the walk of righteousness even though it is not popular.
ACTS 4:31-32
AND WHEN THEY HAD PRAYED, THE PLACE WAS SHAKEN WHERE THEY WERE ASSEMBLED TOGETHER, AND THEY WERE ALL FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, AND THEY SPAKE THE WORD OF GOD WITH BOLDNESS.
AND THE MULTITUDE OF THEM THAT BELIEVED WERE OF ONE HEART AND OF ONE SOUL: NEITHER SAID ANY OF THEM THAT AUGHT WHICH OF THE THINGS HE POSSESSED WAS HIS OWN; BUT THEY HAD ALL THINGS COMMON.
These are the days where we ought to pray that our children receive the indwelling of the Holy Ghost. We should pray with them that the emptiness be filled with the Spirit of God and the fruits thereof. The Lord said there is a great door opened to receive him and to evangelize during this time when it is not popular. There is religion that surrounds us and people ever learning and never coming to the knowledge of God. The truth is that the harvest is plenteous but the laborers are few. Although the doors are open there are many adversaries that are at the door to hinder the move of the Holy Spirit. Schedule tarry services for the youth to stir up the gift that the Lord has given. The prophets have spoken that this new generation emerging will go forth with boldness, confidence, and no fear of the adversary. Having this type of unity one with another confuses the enemy because they had all things common to do the Lord’s will and purpose proficiently. Shut the door and pour. Focus on oneness. Focus on the one measure that the Lord has given and pour with the one thing. Two gifts (sons) and an anointing.
ISAIAH 22:22-25
AND THE KEY OF THE HOUSE OF DAVID WILL I LAY UPON HIS SHOULDER; SO HE SHALL OPEN, AND NONE SHALL SHUT; AND HE SHALL SHUT, AND NONE SHALL OPEN.
AND I WILL FASTEN HIM AS A NAIL IN A SURE PLACE; AND HE SHALL BE FOR A GLORIOUS THRONE TO HIS FATHER’S HOUSE.
AND THEY SHALL HANG UPON HIM ALL THE GLORY OF HIS FATHER’S HOUSE, THE OFFSPRING AND THE ISSUE, ALL VESSELS OF SMALL QUANTITY, FROM THE VESSELS OF CUPS, EVEN TO VESSELS OF FLAGONS.
IN THAT DAY, SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS, SHALL THE NAIL THAT IS FASTENED IN THE SURE PLACE BE REMOVED, AND BE CUT DOWN, AND FALL; AND THE BURDEN THAT WAS UPON IT SHALL BE CUT OFF: FOR THE LORD HATH SPOKEN IT.
The Lord has empowered us to overcome in these last days and shut doors to the adversary, yet open doors to healing and deliverance and to impart gifts unto others for the sake of edification and building the body of Christ. We are the keepers of the gate. Lift up ye heads O ye gates…behold what manner of love the Lord has bestowed upon us. #healing #pullingdownofstrongholds #deliverance
