PASSIONATE PURSUIT...KEEP GROWING!

PHILIPPIANS 3:12
NOT AS THOUHG I HAD ALREADY ATTAINED, EITHER WERE ALREADY PERFECT: BUT I FOLLOW AFTER, IF THAT I MAY APPREHEND THAT FOR WHICH ALSO I AM APPREHENDED OF CHRIST JESUS.
BRETHREN, I COUNT NOT MYSELF TO HAVE APPREHENDED: BUT THIS ONE THING I DO, FORGETTING THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE BEHIND, AND REACHING FORTH UNTO THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE BEFORE,
I humbly say thank God for the power of his resurrection that has given us access to the knowledge of Christ and the excellency of his works. Oh, if we would dare to know the Lord…to know his mercy toward his chosen…to know his longsuffering…the glory of his manifest presence…what a privilege! To chase him…I count not myself to have apprehended. None of us have arrived. We have yet to obtain, but that perfection can only come when his saints perfect that which is lacking in each other, for we are many members and we cannot stop growing in the purified love of Christ. We must abide in the vine. We must also allow ourselves to be pruned by the Lord so that we can maintain fruitfulness. We plant and water, but He alone gives the increase. Therefore, I look for “the more” of Him. I follow hard after and I forget the things that are behind. To those seeking the spirit of God, His kingdom, and all of its righteousness; do not focus on the shortcomings of the past, but allow the potter to continue to glorify himself while making us over and over on the potter’s wheel. Reach forth unto those things which eyes have not seen, nor ear heart, nor entered the heart of man the things which the Lord has stored for his chosen. Seek that which is to come, those things which are above…the Lord shall reveal all other things that be needful by His Spirit and Lo, he is with us always even until the day of Jesus Christ.
