FRIENDLY REMINDER DO NOT FEAR WHAT YOU SEE OR BE INTIMIDATED

​Ephesians 4:17-24
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
Having their understanding darkened, being alienated form the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
Who being past feeling have given themselves over to lasciviousness,to work all uncleanness with greediness.
But ye have not so learned Christ;
If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus:
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to deceitful lusts;
And be renewed in the spirit of the mind,
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousnees and true holiness.
The Lord God encourages the saints of God to walk in truth and grow together in Him. Therefore, as he speaks that we utilize our gifts and talents that he has distributed to all men, for us to be in the unity by his spirit. He said also the purpose was to build each other up and edify the body of Christ. He also warns that we are called to sanctification for his glory and therefore do not walk as the other gentiles that you may have seen who have vain thoughts and have no understanding of spiritual things. Oftentimes, when we are going about day to day, we encounter folks that work iniquity and prosper in their way and do not have knowledge of Jesus in their walk. The Lord says do not be discouraged by the things you see in the last days. There are some who lean to their own understanding. However, the Lord says we believers have not learned such ways.
I Corinthians 2:10
But God hath revealed them unto us by His spirit, for the spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the spirit of God.
Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
Keep in mind the Lord Jesus is speaking these things to his faithful servants who get so frustrated with how folks are seeming to prosper in their way. He says fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be envious because of workers of iniquity. Some of those that you see have been blinded and alienated from the life that Christ had desired for them to live, but we have not bee taught that way. Jesus says He is the way, the truth, and the life. Therefore, if we truly have learned of him, then we know to put off the former lusts and the old man to have holy conversation. He commands us to do his will and to do his purpose and be renewed in the spirit of the mind. We must have holiness reigning in our inner man. The new man established walks in holiness and righteousness.
