PASSIONATE PURSUIT...ZEAL VS.PATIENCE

BUT CALL TO REMEMBRANCE THE FORMER DAYS, IN WHICH AFTER YOU WERE ILLUMINATED, YE ENDURED A GREAT FLIGHT OF AFFLICTIONS;
PARTLY, WHILST YE WERE MADE A GAZINGSTOCK BITH BY REPROACHES AND AFFLICTIONS; AND PARTLY, WHILST YE BECAME COMPANIONS OF THEM THAT WERE SO USED.
FOR YE HAD COMPASSION OF ME IN MY BONDS, AND TOOK JOYFULLY THE SPOILING OF YOUR GOODS, KNOWING IN YOURSELVES THAT YE HAVE IN HEAVEN A BETTER AND ENDURING SUBSTANCE.
CAST NOT AWAY THEREFORE YOUR CONFIDENCE WHICH HATH GREAT RECOMPENSE OF REWARD.
FOR YE HAVE NEED OF PATIENCE THAT, AFTER YE HAVE DONE THE WILL OF GOD, YE MIGHT RECEIVE THE PROMISE.
FOR YET A LITTLE WHILE, AND HE THAT SHALL COME WILL COME, AND WILL NOT TARRY.
Greeting in the name of our Lord and Savior, the author and finisher of our faith. Grace and peace be multiplied. It is interesting that the Lord has been consistently stating in many ways that he is delivering and calling a people who will do his will and purpose and who has established a holy pattern after the heavenly things so that we can know and understand his will for his disciples in these end times. First the Lord states remember the days when you were first encountered with the revelation of His Spirit. Most people who initially receive Christ as their Lord and savior do so because of a situation or circumstance bring forth revelation of the need to surrender to your Lord and Savior and to acknowledge that your redeemer lives. When You first got saved there were afflictions, These were to draw you nearer to Christ. They were learning lessons, teaching tools, and to all around confirm His word and to glorify Himself within us. Throughout these times of testing and trials that were to purify us and to place us in readiness to endure hardness as good soldiers we were made an example to others, objects of ridicule and reviling, all the while these afflictions were taking place in the midst of our own companions who are so used to bring for these afflictions. Therefore, the Lord says remember that we have received compassion from him and were compassionate to endure because of his bonds, including the loss of things and earthly goods because of the knowledge and assurance that our heavenly substance is much greater. Zeal after God’s own heart is a powerful thing. In fact, it is testified in the gospels that the zeal of thine house hast eaten me up. That is to say that to have a desire to please the Lord, to do his will and perform his word is what drives our spirit man to passionately pursue and seek with a seemingly unquenchable fire. All the while loosing seemingly all for his name sake, and wanting desperately for the works of faith to be performed; signs, miracles, and wonders. Then it is needful to ask how to tame such a passion as this with the fruitful gifts of the spirit know as self-control. Therefore, we convince ourselves to hold thy seek in the midst of these afflictions for surely you are zealously reaching beyond measure and that substance in you which cannot be contained (though you call it standing in your most holy faith) has been called by those very companions of yours, vanity. Yet the Lord says in all of these things so not allow these contradictions and afflictions to have you cast away the confidence which surely, will bring forth the increase. Allow patience to have a perfect work in you. Wait to see the Lord by His Holy Spirit will do as the prophet Habakkuk has reminded. Stand unshakeable, unmovable in your assurance and in the word of truth. Your savior is not slumbering. He that shall come will come and will not tarry. Stand in the gift of faith and he who began a good work in you will perform it. #WAIT #WATCH #PRAY #PRAISE
