​PSALM 11
IN THE LORD PUT I MY TRUST: HOW SAY YE TO MY SOUL, FLEE AS A BIRD TO THE MOUNTAINS?
FOR, LO, THE WICKED BEND THEIR BOW, THEY MAKE READY THEIR ARROW UPON THE STRING, THAT THEY MAY PRIVILY SHOOT AT THE UPRIGHT IN HEART.
IF THE FOUNDATIONS BE DESTROYED, WHAT CAN THE RIGHTEOUS DO?
THE LORD IS IN HIS HOLY TEMPLE, THE LORD’S THRONE IS IN HEAVEN: HIS EYES BEHOLD, HIS EYELIDS TRY, THE CHILDREN OF MEN.
THE LORD TRIETH THE RIGHTEOUS: BUT THE WICKED AND HIM THAT LOVETH VIOLENCE HIS SOUL HATETH.
UPON THE WICKED HE SHALL RAIN SNARES, FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, AND AN HORRIBLE TEMPEST: THIS SHALL BE THE PORTION OF THEIR CUP.
FOR THE RIGHTEOUS LORD LOVETH RIGHTEOUSNESS; HIS COUNTENANCE DOTH BEHOLD THE UPRIGHT.
Greetings in the name of our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Peace and mercy be multiplied. I thank God for the victory over the adversary and for victory over sin. I thank Him for new mercies and strength in the inner man. This is the day that Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. O taste and see that the Lord is good and his mercies endureth forever. Thank God that Jesus sits on the throne and being that there is none greater He has sworn on himself! He is the first and the last. The beginning and the end, a rewarder of them that diligently seek after Him. He is the great I am.  A heart fixer and mind regulator!
When the Lord begins to do a work of deliverance in your life after being oppressed for so long by strongholds, it is not easy to trust anyone. You don’t want them to have access to your life. You don’t want them to have an advantage. When the Lord Jesus allows the trials by fire to begin to purify you; it hurts. It is painful to see the filth and the wretchedness as a spiritual shifting and cleansing begin to take place. You want to guard what’s left of the shaking. However, we must trust our lives completely in the hands of our redeemer. Jesus Christ paid the price with his blood. When you look at how Holy He is and how you have come so short of his glory time and again circumstances make you want to just flee to a mountain as a bird where you can hide yourself in him. However, the Lord says he’s here to shape, make and mold you. He will be a comforter if you allow him to be. He desires to do a work in you. Don’t be so hasty to jump off the potter’s wheel. He liveth to make intercession for us. He will heal your brokenness. He is in his Holy temple, the true tabernacle not made with hands and even reigning in our hearts. He feels our weakness and our infirmities and has placed them on the cross. From him flows our healing. No matter how the wicked bend their bows and shoot their fiery darts of accusations and hypocrisies we must guard our heart. Seek to please the Lord and dwell in his manifest presence…to behold him that died and rose for you. A broken and contrite spirit, he will in no way despise. Yet, the wicked he will recompense with fire and brimstone. Jesus loves you and is a mender of brokenness. Trust him with your heart completely and he will do the work. His ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts. Yet, he knows the plans that he has for us, that they are good and not of evil. Hold fast to the truth of His Holy word. Bind it around the tablet of your heart.
