TAKING THE KINGDOM BY FORCE

MATTHEW 11:12
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force.

Many of us, when we accepted Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, we had no idea that we enlisted as soldiers in a war. This war is between two kingdoms; the Kingdom of Heaven and the kingdom of the world. This war is for souls...your inheritance...your promise...eternal life. All of this is at stake. Even your very relationship with Christ. 

Now is the time for us to stand in the positions wherein we were called. We must protect and defend our promises in Christ. The Kingdom of Heaven indeed suffers violence and the violent take it by force!

These are the days spoken of by the prophet Joel which said that the Lord would pour out His Spirit upon all flesh. The Kingdom of Heaven is being unleashed upon the kingdoms of this world. There is no longer that voice crying in the wilderness saying, “Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make His paths straight.” Why? Because He is already here! His Spirit dwells with you, with me, and with all those who have received the precious gift of promise, The Holy Ghost.

What a powerful gift to bestow! What a promise! With the complete reign of the Spirit of God in our lives, we are completely unified with Christ as a body. The Kingdom of Heaven is unveiled in us completely. Therein lies every gift, every tool, every resource we need to root out, pull down, destroy, throw down, build, plant and experience the true victory in its fullness as Christ intended (Jer 1:10).

There is no flesh and there is no being that will stand in the way of the Lord's will being carried out. Jesus desperately wants to be reconciled with his children, the bride. Because of this mission, He said He would be made all things to all men that He may by all means save some ( 1 Cor 9:22). Who will believe this report?

Everything that can be shaken is being shaken. Good tidings are preached to the poor. The broken hearts are being mended. Liberty is proclaimed to the captives. Doors are opened to the prisoners that were once bound. Those that mourn are comforted. All because the power of God is being unleashed through His people!

We're bringing the Kingdom of Heaven and its forces. We're invading the streets...the hedges...the highways...to find everything and everyone that belongs to the Most High. We're finding our brothers and sisters, his beloved, and connecting them with their inheritance, their promise, their Father...their God.

We come packing the big guns. Every spiritual weapon of warfare there is, the full armor is packed within the Spirit of God. The sword of the Spirit which is the Word can only bring for increase by His Spirit. The true worshipers worship By His Spirit. The shield of Faith activated...by His Spirit. Having your loins girt with the truth...the Spirit of Truth...His spirit. The breastplate of righteousness...who can walk uprightly except they are led By His Spirit? The helmet of salvation which no man can receive except the revelation of Jesus is given by His Spirit. Then all of our communication amongst each other and to the Father is done by praying in the Spirit. Therein lies the Kingdom of Heaven.

Who wouldn't want to be a part of such a Kingdom? What an inheritance! What a promise! Therein lies our green pastures. When we allow the Holy Spirit to be unveiled in us completely, we step out of time into eternity. There we see the work has already been done. The battles have already been fought and won. The Kingdom has been taken by force and the power of God has been unleashed upon you!
