As we have been seeking the face of God many of you have received the instruction to prepare your long term and short term goals for the new year. We will also start the new year with a fast. This is an AIM fast.
A- Assignment I- Instruction M- Mission
We are fasting Jan 3-5 from 7a- 7p those who wake later make the adjustments for 12hrs.  The fast to to be sure that assignments that we are currently on are in order with the Spirit of God and if the assignment may be coming to an end we are placing ourselves in position to receive new assignments from the Lord. Any instructions received during the previous year we want to be sure they have been completed and if not we want addition instructions to make adjustment to work currently in progress so that we can implement the will of Christ in a more effective and excellent way. As for mission we want to be sure we haven't gone astray from the missions at hand and be prepared for any new missions as the Lord continues to add daily such as need to be saved, new missions can include outreach and evangelism and the like. As we go forth in the new year we want to always remain watchful and in prayer. Be ready in season and out.  Let us have a ready and willing mind to do the will and purpose of Christ, not being slothful in the Lord's business. As it is written the Word speaks that without a vision the people perish.

Praise Him until… the enemy flees

Praise Him until… the doubt is gone
Praise Him until… you don’t care who sees you
Praise Him for your family
Praise Him for your children
Praise Him for those who can’t praise
… then watch Him do the complete work in you!

The time is at hand that we prepare ourselves for a new year in the Lord. We ought to examine ourselves and revisit the prophesy that has already been given. Prepare some long-term and short term spiritual goals as well as some natural goals. What are some gifts and talents that the Lord has given? How can you effectively and consistently utilize those gifts to edify and build up the body of Christ? The word says that the parents have to store up for their children. How can you be more goal driven to prepare a way of righteousness for your children? Is this the year to start your own business? What is required? Write your business plan. Don’t just pray about things you have already been equipped to handle. Rom 12:10-13 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly kindness; in honour preferring one another; not slothful in business; fervent in Spirit; serving the Lord: Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; distributing to the necessity of saint; given to hospitality.

The Volume of the book…
 
Each day is a new day to seek the Lord and to give Him glory, honor, and praise due to His name. His mercies surely endureth forever. This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. No matter the situation or the circumstance the Lord has allowed us to go through, remember, He is your refuge. He is our fortress and a present help in the time of trouble. We will not fear what man can do.
Revelation 5:2-3
The Lord has sent His angels to keep charge of you. There is nothing that the Lord Jesus Christ doesn’t know about your situation or circumstance that you have already gone through or that you are set to go through. He is keeping a record in Heaven of all your works. Your life is in the volume of the book. The Word of God reveals a thing regarding books in Heaven that no one is worthy enough to open the book. Then, behold, there is one. The only one worthy is the lover of our soul, Jesus Christ, the lamb of God! So, when you’re going through the test of your faith to bring you to your expected end, know that Jesus is the first, the last, the beginning, and the end. He is the God who is, who was, and is to come. No one else is writing your story in the volume. No one can put your name in or out of the volume of the book besides Jesus. Your life is based on your walk of faith. The just shall live by faith. Faith is what moves God. He is the author and the finisher. Don’t worry about people and their perception of what the Lord is or is not doing in your life. Faith is not logical. Much of it doesn’t make sense. You must overcome adversity and affliction.
I John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
