POWER OF GOD UNVEILED...A TESTIMONY OF JOY

I didn't know what joy was until I learned to surrender all. I have sung the song...but when I went through what I had known to be tribulation, I had no clue what true joy in Jesus really was. I thought I knew what surrender was. I though I knew what letting go was. I had to convince numerous times that I had to let go...I had given everything to the Lord Jesus, I had laid every burden and care at the altar. However, there was a part of me that was refusing to die. I had made myself a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God, daily. I would relinquish a whole lot, but one little piece I kept to myself without realizing it; control.
I claimed that Jesus Christ was my savior. I claimed that He was my refuge, he had given me His Holy Spirit. I prayed prayers in faith stating that I wanted the Lord to lead and guide me. He would “drive” for a while, but when I really had to trust and travel into uncharted territory, I would grab a hold of my life again. I laid it at the altar, and then I picked it back up. It wasn't until in the midst of my trial that I realized I'm but a vapor in time. Jesus, you are the author and finisher of my faith. I had to stop playing the role of the fixer. I had to let my own will die and carry that cross, as heavy as it was.
Growing up, I would often watch and observe things going on around me...the good, the bad, the wrongs, and the rights. Then my heart would lead me to want to find a way to help or “fix” things. I became a way of life. Then one day the Lord stepped in and changed my perspective of things.
I mentioned earlier a testimony of surrender when I was in the military and how the Lord began to “tear down” my flesh and build me up spiritually in Him. Well, during that time I had two young children. I was threatened with a divorce and a battle for custody with my children. At the time, I was devastated. It seemed my whole life that was just getting started was coming to an end. I went to church. I prayed. I received counseling. I pulled out every “natural” weapon I had to fight. I got an attorney. I wrote letters to multiple judges, and in the natural court, it seemed as if I had lost. I was up against someone who had more rank and He seemed to present a more solid case of stability. During that appointed time I had to choose whether I would relinquish everything to the Lord and trust him completely or continue to play the role as the fixer and keep coming short time and time again. Trusting Him wasn't logical and couldn't be. I couldn't come up with some strategic plan of action and follow through. I had to leave everything and follow Him.
My life as I knew it was in the shambles. It had been completely torn apart. However, the voice of the Lord said, “seek me.” So my heart sought the Lord and kept seeking for His Spirit to reign.
JOHN 15:16
YE HAVE NOT CHOSEN ME, BUT I HAVE CHOSEN YOU, AND ORDAINED YOU, THAT YOU SHOULD GO AND BRING FORTH FRUIT, AND THAT YOUR FRUIT SHOULD REMAIN: THAT WHATSOEVER YE SHALL ASK OF THE FATHER IN MY NAME, HE MAY GIVE IT YOU.
I DIDN'T CHOOSE THE LORD JESUS, He chose me. He gave me the choice after making His. He said I was the apple of His eye. When I made the decision to surrender, He began to shift things and pour of His Holy Spirit and fill all of the emptiness that resulted from my true surrender.
One evening after reading my word, I had gone to sleep. In the whee hours of the night I was awakened by an angel. The angel didn't speak a message with words, but with a spirit of laughter. There was a joy-filled laughter and I couldn't stop laughing. It was like I understood in the Spirit that I would overcome. Then I started to clap my hands and began praising the Lord, Though I couldn't see a positive way through my circumstance, the Lord sent the spirit of joy to get me through that appointed time of elevation in Him. It is hard to describe in words the death of “self” when you're going through circumstances and there is no clear path to take. The straight and narrow that leads to righteousness is rarely the first choice, but leads and guides us by His Spirit to deny ourselves and follow Him. I had to grasp the meaning of what that joy-filled laughter meant. Death and life were present. Death of the “old man” known as self and life as a new creature in Christ began to emerge.
Gal 2:19-20
FOR I THROUGH THE LAW AM DEAD TO THE LAW, THAT I MIGHT LIVE UNTO GOD.
I AM CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST: NEVERTHELESS I LIVE; YET NOT I,BUT CHRIST LIVETH IN ME: AND THE LIFE WHICH I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD WHO LOVED ME, AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME.
So, then a joy was birthed in me that said to live is Christ and to die is gain. I had to be content with the Lord's will. That joy said I fear the Lord. That joy said He is the first and the last, the beginning and the end. Allowing the Holy Spirit to reign completely is when I was able to encounter the fullness of His joy.
The Lord Jesus Christ makes it clear that we didn't choose him first, but He chose us, and if He chose us then He qualifies us or equips us for the mission that He chose us to accomplish in Him. Then, the Lord states that He desires by having chosen us that we should bear much fruit and that our fruit should remain.
There is a lot of revelation in that one particular scripture. One revelation is that He gives us everything we need to accomplish what He ordained us to do. First, Let me say that I communicate a lot with people in my line of work and while having general conversation, people have made mention that though they may be gainfully employed, they don't like several aspects of their job.
No matter what job or assignment I've been on, I've found some things that I didn't look forward to throughout the course of my shift or even when I was going through training for the role I was to operate in. However, I must admit that I often had the tools to accomplish the task whether I like the job or not.
When I was a mortgage loan officer, we would come in to the office every morning. I knew O had phone calls to make and leads to obtain. Although, some of the people I worked with, I could do without their personality or characteristics.
When I was in basic training in the US military, I was equipped with everything I needed to complete my training and yet I must admit that the physical training was challenging and several mornings I wished there was a way to avoid going. Nonetheless, the result that we hoped for regardless of what job was that I would bear fruits of righteousness. The goal for mortgages is that the people and families would be places in homes and for the military it was train to be an EMT, which would in turn bring forth healing and deliverance (spiritually as well as naturally), when soldiers were injured in the line of duty. Though these things mentioned were natural duties, there is a spiritual revelation. Things may seem natural, but everything has a spiritual design by the Lord.
We have natural appointments and spiritual callings of the Most High, and He always equips us for the task. There are many challenges, tests, trials, but all have been allowed to bring us to our expected end build us up on our Most Holy Faith in the Lord Jesus.

OUR FRUIT MUST REMAIN...YOU ARE CALLED AND QUALIFIED TO BEAR FRUIT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
We may not like all that comes with the call, but the Lord states that all things work together for the good and that He who began a good work will perform it until the day of Christ Jesus.
ROM 8:27
AND HE THAT SEARCHETH THE HEARTS KNOWETH WHAT IS THE MIND OF THE SPIRIT, BECAUSE HE MAKETH INTERCESSION FOR THE SAINTS ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD.
AND WE KNOW THAT ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THEM THAT LOVE GOD, TO THEM WHO ARE THE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.
We are not of this world, but we are called as ambassadors of Christ to be a light. The Lord planted us as trees to reconcile others to come unto him and to seek him while he may be found. If he planted us, then we must bear fruit and the hope is that our fruit will remain. Meaning, that regardless of our present circumstance or situations that come with our call, we must remain unshakeable, unmovable, ever abounding in the love of Christ.
In order to bear much fruit and have our fruit remain, our work, first, must be according to the faith. Faith without works is dead, and a work without faith is considered a dead work, and will not stand in the end.
There are several parts to the scripture where the Lord speaks of our fruit remaining. He stated by His word, “that whosoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it you. So then, we have confirmation that the Lord says we can come boldly to the throne of grace and ask anything in His name and He will do it.

PASSIONATE PURSUIT...THERE IS POWER IN FORGIVENESS!

COLOSSIANS 2:13-15

AND YOU BEING DEAD IN YOUR SINS AND THE UNCIRCUMCISION OF YOUR FLESH, HASTH HE QUICKENED TOGETHER WITH HIM, HAVING FORGIVEN YOU ALL TRESSPASSES; BLOTTING OUT THE HANDWRITING OF ORDINANCES THAT WAS AGAINST US, WHICH WAS CONTRARY TO US, AND TOOK IT OUT OF THE WAY, NAILING IT TO HIS CROSS; AND HAVING SPOILED PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS, HE MADE A SHEW OF THEM OPENLY, TRIUMPHING OVER THEM IN IT.

The beautiful thing about Jesus Christ dying on the cross is that he put the guilt and the shame on the cross. He paid the price with his blood we we wouldn't have to. These days with the spiritual warfare, folks are used to bringing accusations against the saints of the Most High, but the Lord Jesus has blotted out every ordinance written against us and that was contrary to us. No matter the circumstance or situation Jesus moved every power out of the way and nailed it to the cross and forgave us all. He stated for us to believe only and love the Lord God with all our heart, mind, and soul. He said for us to apply the word to our lives and not just be hearers only, but doers also. Do not allow the adversary to come and bring chastening and act like its from the Lord. Jesus first comes in gentleness and love and mercy. The adversary comes to deceive and make us feel guilty for things he's already forgiven us for and wiped the slate clean. Plead the blood against the guilt and shame and against all snares and traps the adversary has set. We plead the blood of Jesus against all powers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places.

COLOSSIANS 3:12

PUT ON THEREFORE, AS THE ELECT OF GOD, HOLY AND BELOVED, BOWELS OF MERCIES, KINDNESS, HUMBLENESS OF MIND, MEEKNESS, LONGSUFFERING:
FORBEARING ONE ANOTHER, AND FORGIVING ONE ANOTHER, IF ANY MAN HAVE A QUARREL AGAINST ANY: EVEN AS CHRIST FORGAVE YOU, SO ALSO DO YE.
AND ABOVE ALL THESE THINGS PUT ON CHARITY, WHICH IS THE BOND OF PERFECTNESS.

Love and forgiveness are a team. There isn't one without the other. We must accept the purified love of Christ in our lives and allow Him to reign completely. That is the only way to have assurance in the faith. It is the love of Christ that moves us to pour out the mercies of God unto each other, to show the loving kindness and long suffering one toward another.

It is love that hopes for all things and bears all things. Love is the bond of perfectness and the driving force that moves us to seek the face of God and to do His will and purpose. If Christ dwells in us, then we are to be in unity with Him. The flesh is dead and it is Christ that reigns within us. If then it is Christ reigning by His Holy Spirit, then we have the heart of God. He said that he is one with the Father and we are one with Him by his Spirit. Therefore, we should rooted and grounded in love and this love gives us the fullness of God unto perfection.

MATTHEW 9:2

AND, BEHOLD, THEY BROUGHT TO HIM A MAN SICK WITH THE PALSY, LYING ON A BED: AND JESUS SEEING THEIR FAITH SAID UNTO THE SICK OF THE PALSY; SON, BE OF GOOD CHEER; THY SINS BE FORGIVEN THEE.
AND, BEHOLD, CERTAIN OF THE SCRIBES SAID WITHIN THEMSELVES, THIS MAN BLASPHEMETH.
AND JESUS KNOWING THEIR THOUGHTS SAID, WHEREFORE THINK YE EVIL IN YOUR HEARTS?
FOR WHETHER IS EASIER, TO SAY, THY SINS BE FORGIVEN THEE; OR TO SAY, ARISE, AND WALK?
BUT THAT YE MAY KNOW THAT THE SON OF MAN HATH POWER ON EARTH TO FORGIVE SINS, ( THEN SAITH HE TO THE SICK OF THE PALSY,) ARISE, TAKE UP THY BED, AND GO INTO THINE HOUSE.
AND HE AROSE, AND DEPARTED TO HIS HOUSE.'
BUT WHEN THE MULTITUDES SAW IT, THEY MARVELLED, AND GLORIFIED GOD, WHICH HAD GIVEN SUCH POWER UNTO MEN.

Jesus went into His own city and thought there were many spectators, he set the standard and made the path that the sons of God had power on earth to forgive sin. That path was established by faith. It was just that simple The things sometimes we allow our mind to make complex among us, the Lord Jesus Christ made somewhat simple for us. He said to believe with our whole heart that He is the son of the living God. He confirmed His word with works of faith.
There is power in forgiveness! How wonderful it is to pour love upon another and have mercy to forgive. What freedom it is to be on the receiving end just as well. That power is driven by the purified love of Christ. When you are after God's own heart, you'll find that He is truly a rewarder of them that diligently seek after him. Love is rewarding. There are no words that can describe how you can penetrate the heart of another brother or sister by showing compassion through forgiveness. Forgiveness mends broken hearts and sets captives free.

LUKE 7:42

AND WHEN THEY HAD NOTHING TO PAY, HE FRANKLY FORGAVE THEM BOTH, TELL ME THEREFORE, WHICH OF THEM WILL LOVE MOST?
SIMON ANSWERED AND SAID I SUPPOSE THAT HE TO WHOM HE FORGAVE MOST. AND HE SAID UNTO HIM, THOU HAS RIGHTLY JUDGED.
AND HE TURNED TO THE WOMAN AND SAID UNTO SIMON, SEEST THOU THIS WOMAN? I ENTERED INTO THINE HOUSE, THOU GAVEST ME NO WATER FOR MY FEET: BUT SHE HATH WASHED MY FEET WITH TEARS, AND WIPED THEM WITH THE HAIRS OF HER HEAD.
THOU GAVEST ME NO KISS: BUT THIS WOMAN SINCE THE TIME I CAME IN HATH NOT CEASED TO KISS MY FEET. MY HEAD WITH OIL THOU DIDST NOT ANOINT: BUT THIS WOMAN HATH ANOINTED MY FEET WITH OINTMENT WHEREFORE I SAY UNTO THEE, HER SINS, WHICH ARE MANY, ARE FORGIVEN; FOR SHE LOVED MUCH: BUT TO WHOM LITTLE IS FORGIVEN, THE SAME LOVETH LITTLE.
AND HE SAID UNTO HER, THEY SINS ARE FORGIVEN.
AND THEY THAT SAT AT MEAT WITH HIM BEGAN TO SAY WITHIN HTEMSELVES, WHO IS THIS THAT FORGIVETH SINS ALSO?
AND HE SAID UNTO THE WOMAN, THY FAITH HATH SAVED THEE, GO IN PEACE.

The Lord compares sin to a burden and something that requires constant payment. He also has written that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus. Jesus makes clear that He paid the price and it was paid with His blood. The gift of God, even forgiveness, has freely been forgiven. In the very first verse He says that both owed a debt that was forgiven, then the Lord ends the scripture by asking a question about love. The Lord desires for us to love Him and to love each other as He has loved us. As out Father, his expectations of his chosen are simple and it is our reasonable service to oblige.

We have the ability to stand in the gap for each other and pray on each others' behalf concerning forgiveness, just as Moses stood for the children of Israel. The word states the he stood in between the living and the dead. That's how powerful love and forgiveness is! Numerous times the Lord told Moses in his anger to move that he may destroy them in that moment, but the power of love intercepted the circumstance and satisfied the wrath of God. Love stands in the way of death so that we can live through Christ.

There were several religious leaders present in the house of Simon attempting to make known the sins of the woman publicly. They began to state, :If you knew what manner of woman this is...” There are many people who call themselves children of the Most High who instead of wanting our sins covered would rather them be revealed for the sake of embarrassment and humiliation. That's not love. The word says that in the last days the love of many will wax cold. However, He has given the chosen of God the power to forgive sins right here in the earth. Yet, that requires the purified love of Christ and bowels of mercy toward a brother or sister. The Lord says we should have compassion on some, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh (Jude 23). how simple is it for you to say to another member of the body of Christ; thy sins be forgiven?”
Sometimes sins are known openly and some men's sins are revealed later (1 Tim 5:24). However, sometimes the revelation is to stand in the gap, pray for their forgiveness, and cover the sin for judgment sake.

PSALM 32

BLESSED IS HE WHOSE TRANSGRESSION IS FORGIVEN, WHOSE SIN IS COVERED.

That is the purified love of Christ. In these last and evil days, though we have the power and privilege to forgive, we don't utilize that power nearly as often as we should. Within this power is healing and deliverance, and when we mingle faith with the purified love and forgiveness, hearts are healed and captives are set free. These signs will follow the believer, even the remnant in the end times if we allow His Holy Spirit to reign completely.

LOVE HOPES FOR ALL THINGS
II COR 3:2

YE ARE THE EPISTLE WRITTEN IN OUR HEARTS, KNOWN AND READ OF ALL MEN.
FOR AS MUCH AS YE ARE MANIFESTLY DECLARED TO BE THE EPISTLE OF CHRIST MINISTERED BY US, WRITTEN NOT WITH INK, BUT WITH THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD; NOT IN TABLES OF STONE, BUT IN FLESHLY TABLES OF THE HEART. AND SUCH TRUST HAVE WE THROUGH CHRIST TO GOD -WARD NOT THAT WE ARE SUFFICIENT OF OURSLEVES TO THINK ANYTHING OF OURSELVES; BUT OUR SUFFICIENCY IS OF GOD;

There is power in loving! The power of love…the purified love of Christ is what is my zeal. I am after God’s own heart because it is His love that opened doors for me. The love is God is what kept me when friends or family couldn’t keep me. Jesus’ blood covered me. His mercy prayed me through every crisis and every misunderstanding while I became determined to know what I was called to do. There is power in wanting to find what belongs to God and to cherish it for Him.
Every soul that the Lord created unto himself he said it was good and to the Father He prayed and said O’ Lord whom you gave me I have not lost one, but I pray you keep them. That type of love is pure. Jesus Christ doesn’t want you to hurt, but to flourish in his will. He wants you to overcome as he has overcome. The spirit is the giver of life. Therefore, I compel you to receive of the Holy spirit because his Holy Spirit is the comforter. His Holy Spirit leads and guides in the path of all truths. The Spirit searches the deep things of God and ministers to the heart of his people. He cares for you and even the small things that concern you. He comforts those who have been cast down and distressed…those who have been perplexed and dishonored. The Lord knows our circumstance and he is a refuge. We must allow him to be a present help because he is a gentleman. He will not force himself. These are the appointed times to trust the Lord like you’ve never trusted him before. Move him with your faith! Praise him. Love him! Seek him withy our whole heart and do not turn back.

A PURIFIED MIND

1 CORINTHIANS 2:16
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Sometimes the heart and the mind aren’t on the same page. Sometimes you can have a heart completely after God and yet have a carnal mind. When this happens there is a disconnect and Christ is not reigning completely. When your mind is not transformed to the mind of Christ you are not able to receive the spiritual things the Lord has for you.

1 CORINTHIANS 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can He know them for they are spiritually discerned.

Don’t let the enemy play a chess match in your mind. You know who you are and who you belong to. We may change our minds, but Christ is the same today, yesterday, and forevermore. He changes not. Let the spirit of the mind be sound.

2 TIMOTHY 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2 THESSALONIANS 3:3-5
But the Lord is faithful who shall stablish you, and keep you from all evil.

And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting of Christ.

Let the spirit of truth reign completely over your mind with confidence knowing that Christ is in control of your life and His plans for you will not change, no matter the situation or circumstance. Stay on the foundation that He has built you upon. You may not be sure of anything else, but you know Christ and that you can trust Him with your life.

O' LORD HOW EXCELLENT IS THY NAME IN ALL THE EARTH. OH MY LORD THE HEAVENS CANNOT CONTAIN THEE. YOU ARE THE GOD WHO SITS HIGH, LOOKS LOW AND SWEARS ON HIMSELF. YOU ARE THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH. O' LORD GOD TO WHOM BELONG ALL MERCIES AND TRUTH. FORSAKE NOT THINE HERITAGE O' LORD. REDEEM THOSE WHOM YOU HAVE ORDAINED FOR YOUR REDEMPTION. YOU ALONE ARE OUR REFUGE AND GUIDE. SEEK THOSE WHO STILL NEED TO BE SOUGHT OUT O' LORD. BE NOT SILENT TO US IN THY HOT DISPLEASURE. O' LORD HAVE MERCY ON YOUR CHOSEN. CONSIDER OUR SURRENDER THOUGH UNTIMELY YOU ARE FAITHFUL TO FORGIVE. CLEANSE OUR MINDS AND OURIFY OUR HEARTS. LET NOT OUR ADVERSARIES GAIN GROUND. REFINE US O' LORD WITH YOUR REFINING FIRE. RENEW OUR SPIRIT MAN DAY BY DA, MINUTE BY MINUTE. SEND YOUR ANGELS THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN CHARGE TO HELP US CONTEND ON OUR MOST HOLY FAITH. HEAL OUR BACKSLIDINGS O' LORD. BE OUR SAVIOR AS YOU HAVE SPOKEN. COMMAND YOUR DELIVERANCE FOR OUR LIVES. FATHER, HEAR US FOR WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED OF OUR FATHER TO GUIDE OUR LIVES. CHASTEN US AS THE JUS TJUDGE. WHERE DO I RUN FROM THE ZEAL THAT DOES BURN WITHIN. THE ANGER FOR MY MY FLESH THAT HAS CAUSED ME TO DISPLEASE YOU SO. OH LORD MY EAR HAS INCLINED ITSELF TO HEAR YOUR VOICE. I CANNOT STOP THE EXPECTATION OF YOU POURING...EVEN IF THERE BE A CHASTENING. FORSAKE ME NOT IN THINE WRATH AND INDIGNATION SAVE YOUR PEOPLE. SAVE YOUR DAUGHTER O' LORD. INTERVENE HASTILY O' GOD FOR MY DESPERATION FOR YOUR SPIRIT. THE PASSIONATE PURSUIT FOR YOUR PRESENCE IS NEVER ENDING KNOWING THAT I AM BUT A WOMAN, AND A MERE GENTILE HAS ME ATTEMPTING TO OVERCOMPENSATE FOR FAVOR I HAVE YET TO OBTAIN. FAVOR AND MERCY HAS SEEMED TO COME SO PLENTEOUS TO TOHERS WHO DO NOT EVEN DESIRE SUCH FROM YOU. A CHASE TO NOT HAVE APPREHENDED KEEPS DRIVNG ME TO SEEK THAT MUCH THE MORE. I HAVE BECOME ADDICTED TO SEEKING YOU IN HOPES OF YOUR MERCY THAT AS THE UNJUST JUDGE HAD CONCLUDED THEY GRANT THE FAVOR THE PETITION TO AVOID THE NUSANCE OF THE MATTER. YOU WROTE THAT IT WAS YOU WHO CHOSE US. YOU KNEW US BEFORE WE WERE FORMED AND WHAT WAY WE WOULD TAKE. YOU SAY, CONSIDER YOUR WORKS. I SAY, CONSIDER THE WORK YOU HAVE DONE IN ME... THE LOVE YOU'VE POURED WASN'T IT PURE? THE BLOOD YOU SHED, WAS IT NOT RIGHTEOUS? HOW CAN I HIDE SUCH A THING? HOW CAN I KEEP MYSELF? HOW CAN I WALK AWAY, EVEN KNOWING I HAVE SINNED O' LORD. THE GUILT IS OFTEN PRESENT, BUT IT IS MASKED BY MY PASSIONATE PURSUIT FOR YOUR SPIRIT.
