GOT GOALS?

​As we approach another year in our Lord Jesus Christ, it is needful to consider our short term and long term goals. We do this every year. However, we must keep in mind that Jesus is the ultimate planner and guide and things must line up according to His will and purpose. Those goals that we establish should be both spiritual and natural. While we do recognize that all things are spiritual we refer to those things that are natural as necessities to live such as going back to school or purchasing a new home. The more spiritual aspects include more effective communication, pray more often, read the Word more frequently and the like so that your Spirit man and grow and abound that much more in the love of Christ. How can we have an expectation of spiritual fruits and we are not often doing things of the spirit? Let us seek after the things which are above (Col 3:1-2) so that we may be able to walk in His manifest presence this year. I ask again to some, Do you have the Holy Spirit? If not, why don’t you? If so, How do you know? Do your fruits show? Do you have your prayer language? Seek the face of God with us so that we can continue to build each other in the faith and that we may also can be that much more effective on the battlefield for Jesus Christ.
