HE REVEALETH THE DEEP AND SECRET THINGS: HE KNOWETH WHAT IS IN THE DARKNESS, AND THE LIGHT DWELLETH WITH HIM.
THE KING ANSWERED UNTO DANIEL, AND SAID, OF A TRUTH IT IS, THAT YOUR GOD IS A GOD OF GODS, AND A LORD OF KINGS, AND A REVEALER OF SECRETS, SEEING THOU COULDEST REVEAL THIS SECRET.
   Matthew 10:26
fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
what i tell you in darkness, that speak ye in the light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

 From the days of old when the Lord was leading the children through the wilderness to the place of their inheritance and also into the place of their inheritance, and also into the days of Joshua, the Lord gave the children the laws and a covenant. He gave them also their portion by tribe. The Levites were the priesthood at the time for the children. The Lord sanctified them and set them apart for his service. So, we say that to say the prophets were raised up with the priests in their portion of the land.
The Lord shares with us some of Jeremiah's history. His father's name is Hilkiah who was of the priesthood. He lived in Anatoth located within the land of Benjamin. Because of this information we know that Jeremiah has some knowledge of God because he grew up amongst a houshold of priests of the Lord.
The Lord moves to speak to Jeremiah in the days of Josiah while he had already been in the midst of reigning as King of Judah for thirteen years. Josiah was a young King who took the throne at the tender age of eight years of age. This is not coincidence that the Lord raises up a younf prophet Jeremiah to prophesy to a young King of the House of Israel.
Jeremiah 1:5-10
BEFORE I FORMED THEE IN THE BELLY, I KNEW THEE; AND BEFORE THOU CAMEST FORTH OUT OF THE WOMB I SANCTIFIED THEE, AND I ORDAINED THEE A PROPHET UNTO THE NATIONS.
THEN SAID I, AH, LORD GOD! BEHOLD, I CANNOT SPEAK: FOR I AM A CHILD.
BUT THE LORD SAID UNTO ME, SAY NOT, I AM A CHILD: FOR THOU SHALT GO TO AL THAT I SHALL SEND THEE, AND WHATSOEVER I COMMAND THEE THOU SHALT SPEAK.
BE NOT AFRAID OF THEIR FACES: FOR I AM WITH THEE TO DELIVER THEE SAITH THE LORD.
THEN THE LORD PUT FORTH HIS HAND, AND TOUCHED MY MOUTH. AND THE LORD SAID UNTO ME, BEHOLD, I HAVE PUT MY WORDS IN THY MOUTH.
SEE, I have THIS DAY SET THEE OVER THE NATIONS AND OVER THE KINGDOMS, TO ROOT OUT, AND TO PULL DOWN, AND TO DESTROY, AND TO THROW DOWN, TO BUILD, AND TO PLANT.

The Lord sets the atmosphere by sharing the spiritual condition of the people with the King and Jeremiah. We learn more details of the king in the book of chronicles and in later chapters. Nonetheless, the Lord doesn't use a messenger in the form of a priest or family member. The Lord God speaks and introduces himself to Jeremiah directly.
He tells him the reason why he came forth and what his purpose for the Lord was for even before he was born. The Lord stated that before he was formed, he knew him; meaning he came forth from the spirit of God. The priests are sanctified as well, but the lord specified that he would be called a prophet and he would be sent forth to the nations to speak as the mouth of God. Each person represents a nation.
When Jeremiah received his call and purpose he is overwhelmed. There is nothing like knowing what your mission and purpose is in this life. Jeremiah gives the Lord some reasoning, one we are so familiar with from the days of Moses who also claimed that he lacked the ability regarding his speech. Jeremiah's reasoning with the Lord was his youth. He's just a child, he claims. Isn't that interesting of the humility? He questions his own youthfulness while on the other side of things, the King of Josiah has been reigning since the age of eight, one of the youngest kings we've most likely read about besides King Jesus.
The Lord himself addresses this thing. He addressed the concerns that are considered his weakness. The Lord god makes it clear ti the young prophet to not be concerned as if this is a fleshly call. He is in unity by his spirit to so his will and his purpose. The Lord is with him to do the work. So, we see that the Lord gives an introduction, call, purpose, mission, and with this mission, a vision. Because Jeremiah is the mouth of God, he receives a touch by the Lord as a formal spiritual cleansing and anointing to do the Lord's will effectively and holy.
When the Lord gives his purpose, he gives the vision to see it through to the end. Jesus Christ says that he is the author and the finisher of our faith. The finishing spirit comes along witht eh prophetic to know what the future will be for the Lord's chosen.
In verse 10, the first thing the Lord mentions is vision. He says, “see, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.”
PHILIPPIANS 2:5-7
LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU, WHICH WS ALSO IN CHRIST JESUS:
WHO, BEING IN THE FORM OF GOD, THOUGHT IT NOT ROBBERY TO BE EQUAL WITH GOD:
BUT MADE HIMSELF OF NO REPUTATION, AND TOOK UPON HIM THE FORM OF A SERVANT, AND WAS MADE IN THE LIKENESS OF MEN:
HERE IS THE SONSHIP AUTHORITY. HE SET HIM OVER THE NATIONS AND KINGDOMS BEING IN UNITY BY THEE SPIRIT OF TRUTH AND EQUAL WITH THE LIVING GOD.
In verse 8, the Lord stated to Jeremiah to be not afraid. He will be with him to deliver him. So with this prophetic office the Lord also distributes the spirit of deliverance with him as well. The spirit of deliverance will do the work spoken of in verse 10 to accomplish his purpose to root out, pull down, to destroy, and to throw down, to build and to plant. Does this sound familiar?
II Corinthians 10:4
FOR THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE ARE NOT CARNAL, BUT MIGHTY THROUGH GOD TO THE PULLING DOWN OF STRONGHOLDS;
CASTING DOWN IMAGINATIONS, AND EVERY HIGH THING THAT EXALTHETH ITSELF AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD, AND BRINGING INTO CAPTIVITY EVERY THOUGHT TO THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST;
Sometimes we can think to root out, pull down, or destroy can be a bad thing. But, this is the Lord sharing the process of deliverance with his prophet he is sending to the nations. Before a foundation can be laid there is a tearing down of the “old” and that which is contrary. When Jesus delivers by His spirit, he roots our every demonic force. He pulls things from the root. The Lord God doesn't do anything half-way. He does a complete work. He desires to destroy anything, any enmity that will interfere with his relationship with his children. He must also pull down vain imaginations and spiritual wickedness in high places and anything else that will interfere with the flow of His Holy Spirit.
Then He is able to build and plant seeds of righteousness. The ground is fertile.
What do you plant? Fruits of the spirit...love, joy, peace, gentleness, kindness, mercy, longsuffering, and faith to name a few.
He asked Jeremiah what he saw. When he answered the Lord, He said, thou hast seen well. The Lord then said, “I will hasten my word to perform it.” Meaning Jeremiah's word wil not fall to the ground. What he sees from the Lord he must speak.
Jeremiah sees another vision spiritual in nature, a seething pot. It is pointing north to say that there is a fury from the Lord breaking forth upon the children of God from the north.
The Lord states that he is the one who is calling the kingdoms of the north into unity and they shall establish themselves at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem. Jerusalem is a portion of promised land set for the children of Israel. He stated the enemies would be at the gate, and that we are the gatekeepers. Meaning, we are going to have to fight for our promise. The Lord is putting the ball back in your court saying surrender and I will be with you. They have made their own thrones and their own pedestals. He said, even against the cities of Judah. Judah is the scepter and the light, the praise. He is addressing the sin before they enter into their promise. CLICK HERE FOR COPY
