​I Cor 4:8
 
NOY YE ARE FULL, NOW YE ARE RICH, YE HAVE REIGNED AS KINGS WITHOUT US: AND I WOULD TO GOD YE DID REIGN, THAT WE ALSO MIGHT REIGN WITH YOU. FOR I THINK THAT GOD HAS SET FORTH US APOSTLES LAST, AS IT WERE APPOINTED TO DEATH: FOR WE ARE MADE A SPECTACLE UNTO THE WORLD, AND TO ANGELS, AND TO MEN.
WE ARE FOOLS FOR CHRIST’S SAKE, BUT YE ARE WISE IN CHRIST; WE ARE WEAK, BUT YE ARE STRONG; YE ARE HONORABLE, BUT WE ARE DESPISED.
Let this be a friendly reminder of the role of the servant of the living God. People these days so not recognize the spirit of God. The world cannot receive Him, but will receive what the Lord has appointed for them to receive. We cannot expect the world to understand the things of the spirit. We must still be that light and work while its day. We are counted as sheep for the slaughter, yet we still know that our lively hope is on high. We surrender. We present ourselves as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto God. This is our reasonable service. We put on our whole armor. We trust in the Lord with our whole hearts and lean not to our own understanding. We will not fear what man can do. We humble ourselves and carry our cross. Those within the apostleship and the five-fold ministry recognize first hand that we are last. We are a royal priesthood and we are made a spectacle because of it. Yet, count it all joy. We are appointed to the death, meaning the death of flesh; self. We still must remain wise as serpents and yet gentle as doves, while we wait patiently to see what the spirit of God will do. These are likened to the days of Noah. They laughed, they mocked, and they watched and even today the darkness couldn’t comprehend the light. We pour, they receive. We appear hungry, thirsty, naked, buffeted, and seemingly having no dwelling place; while those having a form of godliness seem to prosper in their way. Hold fast to the truth that we have been taught by the spirit from the beginning. Stay the course. Finish the race. Be not weary in well doing. Rejoice in the Lord and be of good courage. Be sure to keep your name written in the book of life. The works that we do are not unto man they are unto God who has eyes bolding the good and the evil. Continue to be faithful over a few things and He will make you ruler over many.
