PASSIONATE PURSUIT...HOW ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS?

1 COR 16:9
FOR A GREAT DOOR AND EFFECTUAL IS OPENED UNTO ME, AND THERE ARE MANY ADVERSARIES.
ACTS 16:4
Paul begins to travel throughout Troas and to the surrounding cities preaching and ordaining elders everywhere they went.
People were healed, delivered, and set free. Devils were cast out. The signs, miracles, and wonders followed as they did the Lord's will. People were baptized with the Holy Ghost and with fire. Men and women received of His Spirit and all that came to him. There were many doors opened because they were humbled and they were allowing the spirit to reign completely. Jesus Christ is a finisher! As the spirit began to make room for works to be done in every town the Holy Spirit forbade them twice when they intended to go forth into a certain region.
The lord sometimes may not have us go to certain places because of our level of faith pr level of belief. There is power in belief. The more we live as surrendered vessels and a dependent life upon His spirit...the more the spiritual works of faith will begin to manifest within our lives. Peter and Paul both were faithful disciples and servants of the most high. Peter in particular walked side by side with the Lord while he performed a wok on the earth. However, with all the spirit and faith that Peter had he still often came short and he, too, needed revelation. Cornelius (an italian by the way, not a Jew) was sent to Peter that the spirit, the comforter, has come to the gentiles as well as the Jews. Peter received these revelations in a vision which needed conformation which was given by the Lord's servant Cornelius. Before Peter's very eyes after having preached, the Holy Ghost fell upon the people gathered, gentiles included. After having received a vision also, Paul was led to travel to Macedonia. Within his vision he is shown a man but when he gets there he is met with a woman! I believe this is because Paul isn't accustomed to speaking and preaching with women at first. Remember, it was Paul who stated in his opinion that women should keep silent and it is better that they learn from their husbands. I believe Paul, once arriving in Macedonia recognized the revelation that the Lord was using faithful women who would abide in the word to do the Lord's will. These were true servants, true worshippers that were compelling others to do the same and desiring of the Holy Ghost to reign. Once the revelation came to Paul many doors began to open and a great work was done in Macedonia so much so that Paul stated they were stretched beyond measure! A “greater work” did they do by the spirit of God because they did not put boundaries on what the spirit would or would not do. All things are possible through Christ that strengthens us and when we surrender completely and allow the flesh to die. The disciples literally began to turn worlds upside down for people and therefore were delivered up and placed in prison. They were accused of doing things contrary to the law (precept of men). However, late in the midnight hour they rejoiced and sang praises and even the other prisoners heard and foundations of the prison were shaken. The foundations of falsehood and logic..broken..the foundations of false doctrine...broken...the foundations of ungodliness and unbelief...broken. With praise foundations that said women aren't to speak...broken. Deliverance and doors opened everywhere to pray...to seek the face of God...doors open to worship the living God freely by His Spirit...doors open to receive the teaching of the gospel...praise breaks down strongholds!Praise and obedience brings forth deliverance and unity. Praise heals and strengthens and there were many daily that cried out what must I do to be saved!
