PASSIONATE PURSUIT...PROVERBS 17

​Proverbs 17:1
Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than a house full of sacrifice with strife.
I have found this word to be timely and comforting in times such as these. As we continue to contend for the faith it is needful to remind ourselves that we are living in a time where we are seeing prophesy fulfilled in our lives and the lives of others…for them that perish and to the faithful, just as well. Be not weary in well doing for we shall reap in due season if we faint not. Jesus is with you. He will never leave you neither forsake you that you can boldly say that he is your helper and your keeper. Hold fast to the truth and sound doctrine. Eat the bread of life, supp with righteousness. The adversary comes to bring strife, chaos, and discord, but Jesus Christ comes that we may have life and have it more abundantly. I have found myself content with the fear of the Lord and to learn to be abased and to abound even in the midst of afflictions. There are many families sacrificing things but the sacrifice is not a living sacrifice unto God, a reasonable service, holy and acceptable. The gentiles sacrifice unto devils giving into covetous practices and deceitful lusts. They sacrifice to obtain treasures on the earth that cannot prosper you or bring you to your expected end in the faith. Awake out of sleep. Seek the face of God and receive of his holy spirit while he yet may be found. Watch and pray. Seek the kingdom and all of its righteousness and all else shall be added unto you. Receive His healing, receive His truth. Put on the whole armor and eat the whole loaf that you may endure to the end. Seek that you may be dressed with proper attire when the Lord Jesus returns for those that have surrendered to his will. His yoke is easy and his burden is light.
