PICK UP YOUR WEAPONS AND FIGHT!...PRAYER IS A POWERFUL WEAPON OF WARFARE...USE IT!

​Revelation Chapter 1
 
There is a reason the Lord reveals to us his order of communication with his servants. Although we are flesh and blood, the Lord has a great desire to have effective communication with his chosen. He also gave a command that we love the Lord with all our hearts, mind, and our soul. If we love the Lord, then we will maintain communication through prayer so that we can know the will of the Lord for our lives. If we surrender to pray and to be led of the spirit of God, then He will also answer you and give you his will concerning others. This is why the Lord also shares that we should love one another. If we love each other then will we pray for each other and want the Lord to reign completely in each other’s lives.
It is interesting that the Lord mentions effective communication first. It is imperative in His Kingdom for us to communicate with one another ad that the communication is Holy. The Lord desires to perfect us until we all come in the unity of the faith (Eph 4:12). He also commanded that we know them that labor among us which requires fellowship in the spirit and much prayer and supplication.
One of the main reasons that relationships struggle or fail is due to ineffective communication. The Lord says he considers his believers’ friends and if we are friends then he shares his plans and his vision.
John 15:15
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
Henceforth, I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth; but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my father I have made known unto you.
 
One of the things the Lord commanded was that his children love one another. In previous chapter the Lord reveals by his spirit the principalities of the kingdoms of the world so that we can put on the whole armor of God and overcome the whiles of the adversary. Although the Lord is addressing his seven churches of the end times, these churches are the body of Christ and he desires for them to be in unity. To perfect the body of Christ unity and effective communication are required.
Husbands and wives take note of this instruction just as well. These adversaries cannot stand unity, but when two are together in unity and in one accord, the enemy trembles. Where there is unity there is strength. In the end times the adversary is attempting to destroy the bond of unity given by the Holy Spirit. One way that the adversary is attempting to do this is with discord and division among the disciples of Christ and attempting to eliminate healthy, effective communication. However, the time is at hand to recognize and be wise as serpents, yet gentle as a dove. Pray and watch. Seek the face of God while he is yet near. Trust tin the midst of adversity and endure unto the end.
