NO ENEMY LEFT BEHIND

JUDGES 2:2-4

AND YE SHALL MAKE NO LEAGUE WITH THE INHABITANTS OF THIS LAND; YE SHALL THROW DOWN THEIR ALTERS: BUT YE HAVE NOT OBEYED MY VOICE: WHY HAVE YE DONE THIS?
WHEREFORE I ALSO SAID, I WILL NOT DRIVE THEM OUT FROM BEFORE YOU; BUT THEY SHALL BE AS THORNS IN YOUR SIDES, AND THEIR GODS SHALL BE A SNARE UNTO YOU.
AND IT CAME TO PASS, WHEN THE ANGEL OF THE LORD SPAKE THESE WORDS UNTO ALL THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL, THAT THE PEOPLE LIFTED UP THEIR VOICE, AND WEPT.

There was an instruction given by the Lord to His children before they went up to the battle. They were told to slew the inhabitants of the land and to utterly destroy them and drive them out from among them. They were not to make a league with them, or to dwell among them. It was said that if they were allowed to remain that they would be thorns in their side and their gods would be a snare. 

Your enemies are among you and desire an entrance. They desire to take part in your inheritance. Remember, this is your inheritance and no one else’s. What God has for you it is for you. If you don’t utterly drive out and destroy them, they will continue to frustrate and sabotage your purpose.
We are not speaking of natural people, for you know that we wrestle not against flesh and blood. The adversary has sent demonic forces to dwell among you and inhabit with you. You must be obedient and lift up a standard of praise just as the children of Israel did when they were told to encompass the city of Jericho. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard (Isaiah 59:19). Bind the enemy with the Word of God. Lay aside every weight and sin and contend for the faith. Be an effective gatekeeper so that we are keeping in what’s supposed to be in, and keeping out what’s supposed to outside of the gate. Holy Ghost in…righteousness in…obedience in…love in…mercy in…joy in…depression out….turmoil out…discord out…distraction out….bitterness out…frustration out…aggitation out…anxiety out…Do not take down any of your armor! Kill it on contact every issue and care that the enemy send to get you to give and throw in the towel or even try to get the Lord to be not pleased because you have not walked in complete obedience to do His will. Remember it’s all or nothing with the Lord Jesus, no half-stepping. Obey the Lord’s voice completely. Some people cannot go with you where the Lord is taking you. They cannot go! Do your job in the Spirit realm to go forth and overcome! Do not let falsehood, fear, or intimidation be a snare at the entrance of the gate to your inheritance. #PICKUPYOURWEAPONS
