​SPIRITUAL WARFARE WHISPER
 
WHY DO WE NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT?
There is an order to the way that the Lord Jesus Christ operates and this is simply a friendly reminder and a quick word of encouragement for the believers who need the Holy Spirit and need to understand how the Lord moves. Often, He has commanded us t move by His Spirit to not fulfill the lust of the flesh and the desires thereof. He asked the question, Are you moving by His Spirit? How can we move by His Spirit if you do not have His Spirit? So, you need to receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit while He yet may be found so that you can be complete in Him and be where the Lord is at all times instead of where He has been. The pre-requisite to receiving the Holy Spirit is simply believe and surrender to the will and purpose of Christ. You know what it is be saved. Simply confess with your mouth and believe with you heart that Jesus Christ is the son of God and He died and rose for your sins. The Lord may move upon your heart to fast for a period of time to break down the spiritual flesh so that your Spirit man is in proper position to receive all that the Holy Spirit has for you to receive.
The Lord is not slack with His coming. Most people are not in the proper position spiritually to understand and know what the will of the Lord is. The is true. He will be real to you if you desire Him to reign in your life completely. This is a faith walk and requires endurance. This is not a sprint. In order to know the things of the Spirit you must possess the Spirit and it is then by His Spirit that the Lord communicates with His chosen and He also distributes gifts for you to be effective in the Kingdom of God. The Spirit is what leads us and guides us in the path of all truths and righteousness. So, it is needful to ask the question again, “Are you moving by His Spirit?” If not, then seek Him for His Holy spirit to complete you so that you receive all that the Lord has for you to receive before He comes. He desires that we prosper and be in good health. He also stated that He is the bread of life and that His life is eternal and full of abundance and joy. However, these things come by His Spirit.
The enemy is warring with the saints of God and those chosen to do the will and purpose of Christ. We know what the enemy desires to do; kill, steal, and destroy. He wants to completely annihilate the Spirit of God and sift us like wheat. However, the Lord Jesus has given us weapons of warfare and He personally has said that He prays for us that our faith will not fail. We must walk by faith and not by sight. Put on the whole armor of God and a major part of the armor is His Spirit. We must put on righteousness. Put on holiness. Do not waver. Do not take down. Do not fear what man can do. Jesus has the final say on your life and every situation and circumstance concerning you. Trust in the Lord with your whole heart and having done all to stand, stand and see the glory of God. Do it all by His Spirit that we may contend and fight a good fight.
