THE SPIRIT OF ESAU

There’s a birthright and a blessing and both are in Jacob. Esau has a bondage mindset and way of living without hope of promise.
Though we were born gentiles, thanks be to Jesus that He saw fit to adopt us and call us His own. He’s no respecter of persons. We get the same rights as those that were born into Jacob.
Some may have problems or feel uncomfortable with being adopted in the natural sense, but in the spiritual sense what a privilege it is! We must stay grounded having a great appreciation for such an adoption. We’ve been born again and transferred out of the bloodline of Esau into the bloodline of promise because of the precious blood of Jesus. We can’t have the expectations of Jacob and the mindset of Esau. It just won’t work! Esau had entitlement issues and took his rights and blessings for granted. That which he did have was taken away, then he despised it all. Let us cherish that which we have been given and build upon it seeing what the end will bring. For eyes have not seen, and ears have not heard nor have entered the heart of man the things that God have prepared for them that love Him (1 Cor 2:9). #justsayin #keepbelieving
