​KNOW YOUR ENEMY

A major strategic tactic that enemies utilize in warfare is deception. When Jesus Christ walked the earth with his disciples, they asked the Lord what shall the sign of thy coming be and the coming of the end of the world? (Matthew 24:3) The first thing the Lord Jesus shared in his response was that we take heed that no man deceives us. Deception plays a major role in spiritual warfare. The enemy will use tactics of deception to make you think you don’t have what you do have. He will also come to make you think you don’t know what you do know. So, if he can make you think the Lord Jesus is not with you when in fact the Lord Jesus is with you, how much damage would that cause psychologically for you to go forth with confidence to do the will and purpose of Christ.

Luke 10:18-20

And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning from Heaven. Behold, I give unto you the power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits be subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in Heaven.

The enemy is well aware of what power and authority you have. If he could destroy it, he would. If  he could steal it, he would because he has none. Because we have power and authority to overcome the enemy and his demonic forces, the enemy will come with false signs and wonders to attempt to get you  to think you don’t have what you do. When we walk in boldness and confidence by the spirit of faith the enemy trembles. He trembles that much more when we go forth together in unity by the Holy Spirit. Stand tall on your foundation of faith and obedience.

When you’ve got a strong relationship with Jesus Christ, then the enemy will attempt to deceive you into believing you’re weak in the faith. When you’re moving forth in the power of God to fulfill your mission in Christ, then the enemy will attempt to make you think you don’t have enough of the Holy Spirit to do His will and to do His purpose… as if you’re not able to heal, as if your not able to get a prayer through to the most high, when in fact all things are possible through Jesus Christ who strengthens us.
