Word of Encouragement

PSALM 24:7
LIFT UP YOUR HEADS, O YE GATES; AND BE YE LIFT UP, YE EVERLASTING DOORS; AND THE KING OF GLORY SHALL COME IN.
WHO IS THIS KING OF GLORY? THE LORD STRONG AND MIGHTY, THE LORD MIGHTY IN BATTLE.
LIFT UP YOUR HEADS, O YE GATES; EVEN LIFT THEM UP, YE EVERLASTING DOORS; AND THE KING OF GLORY SHALL COME IN. WHO IS THIS KING OF GLORY? THE LORD OF HOSTS, HE IS THE KING OF GLORY.

Did you relize that the Lord God called us gates and he called us doors? Have you ever considered yourself to be either of those? What does it mean to be a gate? To the door he called them everlasting! In the preceding scripture He stated that this is the generation that seek Him, that seek His face. He made a command that they lift up their heads meaning to have no sorrow or despair. Look to Jesus which cometh your help knowing your help is in Christ. He is your confidence and your exceedingly great reward. To be a gate menas you are an entrance. Someone going into a gate mean its a place they usually have a desire to be.
PSALM 118:19
OPEN TO ME THE GATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS: I WILL GO INTO THEM, AND I WILL PRAISE THE LORD.
THIS GATE OF THE LORD, INTO WHICH THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL ENTER.

David shared a psalm that the gate of righteousness was where he wanted to be. Just as David wanted to be at the gate  the Lord wants to be with us at the gate. The Lord wants to be with us in the gate. If we look to Him the King of glory shall come in and whenthe King is there many others will follow. So the Lord has chosen us as the doors of rightesousness and we lead others to Christ with our lifestyle when and as we seek his face..
I'm also reminded of a scripture in Acts 3 where there was a man laid daily by the gate and Peter stated silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I thee. Sometimes people ask for a thing but then Jesus comes behind with His Holy Spirit and gives what you need. When you are seeking to do the will and purpose of Christ we find that sometimes there are many people in the midst of darkness and they recognize several gates and open doors and what they need is the one with the light that leads to the narrow way, the sraight path to righteousness, to healing, to deliverance, to a new testimony.
